Fullstop was faced up with the challenge to create a sophisticated and subtle brand icon for the extraordinary brand.

Our client, Ayako Utsumi, was quite impressed by the design of a nest made by Japanese Pufferfish that works 24 hours a day for 1 week to make it with his fins. The pufferfish builds the nest to attract his mate. From the looks of it, it's a very complex and geometrically perfect model. We took inspiration from that to develop a unique brand identity for Marea Qol as its products are also unique and exclusive.
The client wanted to use the logo design on their website, promotional products, signage, product packaging, brochure, and other stationery. So, we worked on ideas to fulfill the business needs. Here are the initial ideas that we drafted and shared with the client.
While creating the logo design concepts for Marea Qol, we worked around the core element (the pufferfish nest) and combined it with different font styles.
Ayako received the design ideas and shared her thoughts. She got a kick out of the first design but asked more variety of font styles. Moreover, she wanted to change the underlying text from ‘Fine Home Accessories’ to just ‘Home’.

Based on our client’s feedback, we started another creative session and produced more samples using the different typeface.
Not only we revised the previous design concept but reading the thoughts of our client we worked out one more design idea which looked like this:
We hit the nail on the head with that last design concept. Our hard work and innovative approach enabled us to get the approval of the final logo design.

Satisfied with the quality of our work, Ayako was pleased to hire Fullstop for the business card project. We shared the first draft of the business card with our client.
The client wanted us to try a different color. So, we used a gold and plum theme that turned out to be really great looking. Ayako was happy with the plum color but wanted the front side of the business card in white with the brand icon in gold color. We carried out the desired changes and presented the final version of the business card with the client.
